SHOUT sp is a revolutionary smartphone that combines Iridium tracking and messaging with an Android-powered handset. It utilizes Iridium’s Short Burst Data® (SBD®) service to provide location information determined by a GPS receiver, two-way inbound and outbound status, text messaging, and emergency/alert notifications.
Details
SHOUT sp leverages Iridium SBD to enable SMS, voice calls, as well as the ability to connect to Wi-Fi hotspots for expanded Android app usage. It features a high-resolution color touchscreen and an included SHOUT app. The SHOUT sp app supports the transmission of voice and canned messages. A guarded 911 button is used for immediate emergency/alert notifications. SHOUT sp also allows installation and usage of third-party apps.
