NAL Technologies’ (Naltec) A3LA product line is an affordable, low size, weight, and power (SWaP) modem enabling SMS, data switch, Iridium Short Burst Data® (SBD®), and RUDICS connectivity to the Iridium satellite network.

Details
Each A3LA modem uses AES-256 bit encryption to ensure secure communications. With a connected DPL handset, most A3LA solutions can place voice calls similar to an Iridium 9555/9575 phone. Engineered to support the success of any operation, NAL Technologies offers A3LA variants with an internal GPS receiver (A3LA-RG), data only (A3LA-RS), or certification to MIL-STD-810G standards (A3LA-R-MIL, A3LA-RG-MIL, A3LA-RM-MIL) and IP67 rating.
